5 piece doors are made like a picture frame with a 4 piece frame around the perimeter of a 1 piece center panel finished front and back.

The mitered corners are joined and glued together with mortise and tenon connectors, which are the strongest connectors in their class, preventing joint separation and hairline cracks.

The center panel is fitted into a cushioned groove in the frames which captures the ends of the wrapped textured laminate preventing any possibility of lhe laminate loosening with normal expansion and contraction with temperature and humidity. This feature also provides rattle free and quiet door operation, it helps avoid frame warping and assures a long, useful life.

The raised texture laminate provides an easy to clean, realistic wood look while being significantly less expensive and more durable than actual wood.
